Rosie Mercer appointed CEO of Marsden Maritime Holdings

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND: Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd (MMH) has appointed Rosie Mercer as chief executive officer, efficient 1 July 2022.

“I am thrilled that Rosie will be taking up this important role as we play our half in transforming Northland’s economy,” said Chairman Murray Jagger.

“Rosie and the Board are dedicated to delivering on our imaginative and prescient and serving our customers and stakeholders well.”

Rosie has a few years of expertise in management, management and civil engineering roles each inside New Zealand and internationally. She joins Marsden Maritime Holdings after 9 years with Ports of Auckland, the place her most up-to-date role was general supervisor sustainability.

Rosie is delighted to be becoming a member of Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd (MMH) and moving to Northland.

“I am enthusiastic about the future potential of MMH and the enormous alternatives it provides in contributing to Northland’s economy,” she said.

Rosie Mercer holds a BE(Hons) (Civil), MEngNZ and is a member of the Institute of Directors.

She was appointed general supervisor of sustainability at Ports of Auckland in April 2019 and has 9 years of expertise in management, management and engineering.

Rosie was a member and deputy chair of the Provincial Growth Fund Independent Advisory Panel from 2018 till March 2021. She served inside the NZ Army in Afghanistan in 2009 and 2010 as an engineer officer for the Provincial Reconstruction Team.
