Irina Bokova steps down from PhosAgro's Board of Directors

MOSCOW, RUSSIA: PhosAgro, one of many world’s main vertically built-in phosphate-based fertilizer producers, introduced that Irina Bokova is leaving the company’s Board of Directors.

Ms Irina Bokova joined PhosAgro’s Board of Directors in 2018 as an independent director. In May 2019, she was elected Chair of the Board’s Sustainable Development Committee.

Bokova has served as an independent member on PhosAgro’s Board of Directors since 2018. She beforehand served as UNESCO Director-General for 2 consecutive four-year phrases (2009–2017), becoming the primary woman and the primary East European chief of the organisation. She performed an active role within the formulation and adoption of the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development.

PhosAgro is one of many world’s main vertically built-in phosphate-based fertilizer producers in phrases of manufacturing volumes of phosphate-based fertilizers and high-grade phosphate rock with a P2O5 content material of 39% and higher. PhosAgro’s environmentally pleasant fertilizers stand out for his or her excessive efficiency, and they don’t result in the contamination of soils with heavy metals.
