Boku launches PayPay mobile wallet payments for Netflix in Japan

LONDON: Boku (AIM: BOKU), a number one global supplier of mobile payment solutions, is happy to announce that its M1ST (Mobile First) platform has launched PayPay mobile pockets funds for Netflix in Japan.

With this launch, PayPay’s greater than forty five million customers can now pay for streaming subscriptions inside Netflix.

The addition of PayPay ensures that Netflix customers in Japan can select the payment method they prefer. Today, 75% of Japanese consumers are utilizing mobile wallets and the proportion is projected to attain 98% by 2025 (Juniper Research 2021).
