SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Lepidico Ltd (ASX: LPD) has appointed Mr Hans Daniels as General Manager Operations UAE. Hans brings a nice breadth and depth of expertise from his plus 30 years working inside the chemicals industry, a lot of it inside the UAE, from the place he has established and developed new chemicals businesses.
As GM Operations for the region, Hans will lead the implementation and operation of Lepidico’s Phase 1 chemicals course of facility inside the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD), which employs the Company’s proprietary course of technologies.
Hans Daniels has spent the final thirteen years of his profession in General Manager roles inside the UAE, the most up-to-date 10 years of which with the Songwon group of companies, the South Korean chemical conglomerate.
In 2013, Hans arrange the Songwon-Polysys JV in Abu Dhabi and lead the development and subsequent operation of its first chemical manufacturing facility inside the region. From 2018, Hans become the Global Manager for Songwon International’s Physical Forms Manufacturing Division, where, from his KIZAD manufacturing base he efficiently led projects in Asia, Europe the Middle East and the USA, and has responsibility for manufacturing excellence throughout the group.
Prior to Songwon, Hans had an exemplary 17 year profession with Cabot Corporation, spanning the UAE and, Europe. He holds a Chemical Engineering diploma from Haagsche Hogeschool, The Netherlands. Hans will join Lepidico in July 2022 and proceed to be based inside the UAE.
