BEIRUT, LEBANON: Zwipe, Al Mansour Bank and areeba have confirmed that they will pilot Biometric Payment Cards constructed on the Zwipe Pay platform in Iraq.
This will be one of many earliest pilots of subsequent generation contactless payment playing cards within the country.
Al Mansour Bank is a private financial institution with Qatar National Bank (QNB) as its majority owner. The financial institution was established in 2005 and today it has greater than 10 branches throughout Iraq. The financial institution is always seeking innovative merchandise to introduce to the Iraqi market.
